Armenian Group about "Think before you post"

Interview of Lilit Sirunyan from Armenia after the Training Course "Think before you post" in Yerevan

For me, the most important thing I learned in the training was privacy and security in shaping my own and others' digital footprint. The whole IT theme is relatively confusing for me so therefore this project and the sessions held, gave me more knowledge and better idea how to navigate on the social platform and networking field. I found it extremely helpful to cooperate and the exchange of different competencies from the younger team members and the rest of the participants. As myself feel weak at this field, I appreciate the whole project and the know how I’ve gained from here. Based on the knowledge and experience gained, it is planned to create a one-day practical course for creating a secure digital footprint, linking it to practical creative activities. The target group is local youth centers and other professionals working with young people.

Review the material found on the Internet about yourself and organize it. Think more about where, to whom and what I will post in the future. Share knowledge with my close ones and apply it professionally.

When I get home, I have a definite plan to organize both my fb and insta account settings, sort out who

are any acquaintances, who are friends and who is family. As a result, set restrictions on who can see

and access what.

I completely agree that the digital footprint affects us.
